Inspired...

I have been keeping up with the blog of my friend that is battling ovarian cancer. Today she wrote a beautiful story about just sitting in her backyard early in the morning listening to the birds, and joggers go by. She had been lamenting the loss of her eyelashes and eyebrows,,feeling a little insecure. If you all could see her,,she has the most gorgeous eyes, and yes, I'm sure everyone tells her that time and time again. Now she's not so sure. Then she talks about her daughters, her husband, and her faith and blessings,,,,and she has all of us reading her blog feeling like SHE is the one who is helping all of us!
Yesterday I told someone that this humid weather was just NOT a good thing for my already challenged hair. I look like Will Farrell in "Semi-Pro" I told her...and with all seriousness.
Then this morning I read my friend's blog about her eyelashes and eyebrows. Ugh. I am a cad.
Kim you are such an inspiration for me.
